Most crypto traders rely on instinct, constant chart-watching, or a mix of different tools to understand the market. But instinct can be emotional, charts can be exhausting, and switching between platforms slows everything down.

So we asked ourselves a simple question: what if your wallet could actually help you trade smarter? That’s how PillarX Algorithmic Insights was created, a feature that turns raw market activity into clear, structured events you can consider for your crypto trading strategies.

How PillarX Algorithmic Insights Help You Trade Smarter

Whenever PillarX identifies a price movement worth paying attention to, it creates a new event and specifies the suggested direction — LONG or SHORT. Each event gives you a proposed entry level, a protective stop-loss, and several profit targets  (TP1, TP2, TP3, etc.) based on the strategy that triggered it. These targets act like milestones, showing you where the trade could take profit as the price moves.

From the moment the crypto trading event appears, PillarX starts tracking the price in real time. You’ll be able to see how the trade develops: when profit targets are reached, how close the price is to the stop-loss, when the stop-loss moves 5% below each TP that gets hit, and the current unrealised Profit & Loss (PnL) based on live market data.

Each event is presented as a clear, visual “trade card” that shows the full journey, including a sparkline chart of the price movement, a timeline of important moments, and a final outcome once the trade closes.

Every event you receive becomes part of a bigger performance picture. On the Algorithmic Insights dashboard, you’ll see three key views that help you understand how things are going at a glance:

  • Cumulative PnL: the total performance of all closed events over time
  • Floating PnL: a combined view of both your open and closed results
  • Open PnL : the current performance of active, ongoing events

Together, they create one of the simplest ways to see how a strategy behaves without needing to test it yourself. You follow the insights, and PillarX keeps track of the rest, from individual outcomes to long-term performance trends.

Glossary for New Crypto Traders

Entry Level — the suggested price at which a trade could begin.

Profit Target or Take Profit (TP) — a price level where part of the trade takes profit when the price reaches it.

Stop-Loss— a safety level that closes the trade if the price moves too far in the wrong direction. In PillarX, the stop-loss is trailing: each time a take-profit (TP) level is hit, the stop-loss automatically moves to 5% below that TP.

Realised PnL — the final profit or loss from a trade that’s been closed. This number doesn’t change anymore.

Unrealised PnL — your potential profit or loss for a trade that’s still open, not final until the trade closes.

Closed Trade — a trade that has ended. It closes when it reaches a profit target, hits the stop-loss, or is closed manually. Once a trade is closed, its profit or loss becomes final (realised).
